Hair highlights are when sections of your hair are woven out, put in foil, and lightened from roots to ends. There are different sectioning techniques to obtain your desired look with highlights. Highlights will create dimension from your roots to the ends of your hair. 

When you come into our Southington CT salon for hair highlights, we will have a quick consultation. We’ll discuss how you want your highlights to look - whether you want them thick or thin, and what color you want. You will review color swatches with your  stylist and they will give a recommendation based on your current hair color. Your hair stylist will apply the highlights using foils, let the lightener process on your hair, and then wash it out at the sink. To finish your hair highlight service, your stylist will glaze your hair to tone the highlights, and then blow dry it and show you the final result! 

If you are interested in adding dimension to your hair but already have light colored hair, we can also do lowlights. Lowlights are the same process as highlights, except we will be adding a darker color instead of using lightener.
